About & sources

Souq Prices collects official price lists and shows them in a fast, readable format. It is an independent, informational site. It is not an official government website, and the prices shown may differ from what a given station or shop charges.

Every number shows its source and the date it took effect. If you notice an error, please compare it with the official source linked below.

Sources

  • Ministry of Energy and Water: fuel, gas, generator and fuel-oil price lists (published in LBP). energyandwater.gov.lb
  • Banque du Liban official exchange rate (via Frankfurter), used to convert LBP to USD on each effective date. frankfurter.dev
  • Parallel-market USD/LBP quotes (buy/sell) from lbprate.com, an unofficial tracker. Shown for reference only; never used for conversions. lbprate.com
  • Fuel companies TotalEnergies and IPT, which post the ministry's list on their own sites, often before the ministry does. Their values only fill gaps until the ministry's list appears: totalenergies.com.lb · iptgroup.com.lb
